NIPA Contract
What It Is
Portable Computer Systems, Inc. has been awarded the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (National IPA) Contract to sell Panasonic Toughbooks, tablets, accessories, and service. The cooperative purchasing agreement was awarded by City of Tucson, AZ and is being made available to public agencies nationwide. Eligible public agencies include county government, city/local government, public school systems, public higher education, agencies for public benefit and nonprofit organizations.

National IPA was established through a collaborative effort of public agencies across the United States with the specific purpose of reducing procurement costs by leveraging group volume. National IPA aggregates the purchasing volume of participating public agencies across the country in order to receive larger volume discounts from suppliers. This is an optional use program with no minimum volume requirements.
User Benefits and Applicable Products
The National IPA Contract (#073103-01) covers the complete line of Panasonic products and accessories, as well as specific third party products that PCS offers. The third party products available on the contract includes all manner of mobile data products including antennas, docking and mounting equipment, as well as PCS installation services and on-site service contracts. By being in the National IPA program, PCS now can offer customers the ability to be part of a national pre-competitive contract for purchasing Panasonic laptops and accessories. PCS customers will be able to utilize this to complete or enhance their mobile data projects.
