2008 Cystic Fibrosis Ride for 65 Roses
PCS is proud to be associated with the 2008 Cystic Fibrosis Ride for 65 Roses to be held on Saturday, September 13th. The event will feature 20-, 40-, and 65-mile routes through some of the most scenic towns and terrain this side of the Rockies. New Employees
PCS is pleased to welcome two new technicians to our team - John Negri and Lloyd Steward
John began working for PCS in January 2008. He was previously an installer with Av-Tech Electronics, a position he held for over 4 years. Since beginning with PCS, John has been busy in Grand Junction doing MDC installations as well as working on projects for the Aurora Police Department and Fire Department. In his spare time, John enjoys motorcycles and cars.
Lloyd previously worked as a fire tech at the Rocky Mountain National Park where he was often deployed to wildfires outside of CO. He received much of his experience when he worked for Super Vac Manufacturing installing electronic equipment in fire vehicles. He is also a trained and accomplished welder. Lloyd is married with two children.
New Inside Sales Representative Joins PCS
Portable Computer Systems welcomes Brian Elliott to the PCS team as an Inside Sales Representative based in the company’s Denver office. He has over 15 years of customer service and call center experience including roles as a supervisor, corporate trainer and manager. His customer service skills started within a sales support role and continued through multiple call centers in the RV, medical, utility, and wireless industries. Brian moved from Southern California to Northern Colorado in late 2005 with his family, which includes his wife and 3 boys – 10yrs., 8 yrs., and 6yrs. Brian brings to PCS his experience in quality processes, customer service, training, and curriculum development. New Sales Manager Joins PCS
Portable Computer Systems (PCS) is pleased to announce that Steve Burke has joined the company as a Regional Sales Manager based in the company’s Denver office. Steve will be responsible for selling PCS’s full line of portable computing devices including laptops, tablets and handhelds, mounting and docking solutions, modems, wireless data solutions and PCS’s full compliment of service and support options. PCS Ranked #10 on Coloradobiz Top 100 Woman-owned Companies in Colorado
Coloradobiz, a monthly publication for the Denver metro business market, has ranked Portable Computer Systems, Inc. (PCS) number 10 on their list of the top 100 woman-owned companies in Colorado. The list, published in the May 2008 issue, ranks the winners by 2007 Gross Revenue. PCS moved up from its ranking of #15 in 2007 by increasing its yearly revenue by 24%. PCS currently has 27 employees and is celebrating its 15th year of business.
New Network Assists Alice Police in Accessing Records
